Our school ended up opening at 11 with a lot of teachers just canceling later classes anyway. I don't think they know that people just don't want to be out on highways in these conditions for hour long classes.
There's a blizzard outside. The AM commute is going to be a mess. My University is refusing to make a decision about closing until 8am. poking. Wonderful. Half the other colleges in NJ seem to already have delayed openings.
I'm on craigslist looking at mid to late 90s Subaru Legacy wagons. I have no money and the want is stong. Might just leave the XC the way it is now and start saving for a project scoobaru.
I use my highs when I'm on backroads in the woods at night but that's it. Bad weather = lows and fogs with more cautious driving. High beams on the highway is a nono.
Because we men like to drive fast and execute handbrake turns in not-always-successful attempts to get the ladies moist. And the insurance companies don't like that one bit.
Don't make fun of my sta--Oh who am I kidding it's pretty lousy here. I see people in AWD cars spinning out because they have summer tires or just general incompetence.
