  1. Hi Everyone,

I have for sale an 850R Sedan rear trunk wing in very good condition. Minor scuffs and scratches, but the paint is in otherwise good condition and does not have oxidation unlike some other R wings I've seen. Includes the third brake light, attachment clips, and wiring harness. It should also fit 1998-2000 S70 models, as well as all 1993-1997 850 sedans.

  2. US should have gone into iran first, but now that all of the resources are tied up in iraq (I still dont understand why the phuck we are in iraq) Iran aint happening.

IMO, we will eventually go into Iran.

IMO, we went into Iraq to establish a strong presence in Iran's backyard. We now have 150,000+ soldiers and lots of hardware within striking power. The Pentagon didn't have that "luxury" before OIF started.

Don't forget who's interests are paramount in that region, and who controls US foreign policies...

  3. I don't think it would be so sad if the hippies never came back :)

    And who's Blockhead?

Seriously for just a sec: My wife is from Tehran. Her uncle and his family (who still live there) as is most of the younger gen are significantly westernized, decent people. There's just this lunatic death cult running the country is all. It's a tough spot to be in. Add nukes- hillarity ensues.

I'm curious what her religious background is...

  4. In fact the only Muslim democratic country on the face of the earth is Turkey and yes there were protests there but no killings.....

Actually, there was at least 1 documented murder as a result of the Mohammed cartoons in Turkey:

Turkish authorities charged a 16-year-old boy with the murder of an Italian Catholic priest in a shooting that shocked this Muslim nation.

Father Andrea Santoro, 61, was shot dead while praying in his church in the Black Sea city of Trabzon last Sunday. Police arrested the teenager on Wednesday and Turkish media said he had confessed to the crime.

"The suspect was charged under article 81 of the penal code with deliberately killing a person," the state Anatolian news agency said.

Anatolian said the boy had exercised his right to remain silent during a 90-minute court hearing before being transferred to a jail pending his trial.

Under Turkish law, the suspect will be tried as a juvenile and is expected to receive a reduced prison sentence if he is found guilty.

Turkey's government strongly condemned the shooting, which coincided with increased religious tensions worldwide following the publication of cartoons lampooning Islam's Prophet Mohammad in a number of European newspapers.

Turkish media have quoted the suspect as saying he shot Santoro after being influenced by the protests against the cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammad.

Eyewitnesses say he shouted "Allahu Akbar" (Arabic for "God is greatest") before shooting the priest.

Pope Benedict, who on Thursday accepted an invitation to visit Turkey in November, has expressed his sorrow at the killing and said he hoped it would help promote better understanding between Christianity and Islam.

The Vatican said the visit would take place on Nov. 28-30 but that details of the trip still had to be worked out.

The Vatican revealed on Thursday that Santoro had written a letter to the Pope shortly before his death inviting the Pontiff to visit his tiny church when he comes to Turkey.

The vast majority of Turkey's 72 million people are Muslims and its Christian population numbers barely 60,000.

On Thursday, Turkish newspapers quoted the suspect's brother as saying the boy may have fallen under the influence of a militant Islamist group opposed to Christian missionaries while frequenting a local Internet cafe.

Turkish media also quoted the boy's father as saying his son had recently been receiving psychiatric help but that he had been a well-behaved child who worked hard at school.

NTV commercial television said the gun used to kill Santoro - reported to be a sophisticated weapon - belonged to the suspect's brother.

  5. Here's my take on it.

DUBAI is a wealthy CITY, but United Arab Emirates is an even wealthier COUNTRY.

With regards to the sale of 'our' ports, they weren't really ours in the first place. They have been owned by a British company for many years.

How is the UAE purchasing the ports any more of a 'national security threat' than the British company?

Finally, the Coast Guard and Customs and Border Protection Agency will continue handling ALL imports/exports from these ports.

In my opinion, the US economy relies heavily on the investments of US securities and assets by wealthy middle east individuals. There are many princes/shieks throughout the middle east who are major shareholders for many well known US corporations. For example, a majorly publicized event was when a Saudi prince purchased 1 BILLION dollars of stocks (paid in cash) in AOL, Chase, and Priceline, back in 2002. I think he owns about 5% of Chase...
