I think it would be too huge of a task for the US govt to "round up" & deport those illegals that are here already. I think the border should be completely sealed, not just 700 miles of it as propossed. And there needs to be a system set up for those that are already here to come forward & become legal citizens so they can pay some freakin taxes. Here in Northern VA, we have tons of "Day Laborers". Most of these folks wont work for less than $150-$200 a day. Yet they pay no income taxes. In addition, the town of Herndon recently used taxpayers $$$ to establish a center where day laborers can meet with prospective employers to arrange jobs for this tax-free income. This is crazy to me. Anyway.....to sum it up. Im recommending complete closure of the border, stiff penalties for business that employ illegals, and an expedited process to nationalize those that are already here. I just think that if your coming to this country, you should contribute to its prosperity. Not exploit the system.
