Just an update, nothing mechanical this time. However, I scored most of an R interior yesterday and spent about an hour and a half getting the old removed and the new installed! Here's a few pictures: Getting married in April so any kind of real spending aside from any maintenance on this has been put on a halt for the last year.

An actual photo of the frame I'm building up Mostly SRAM XO but the FD is a Shimano M786 and the cranks are Raceface Evolve. Went with a Bontrager Big Earl on the Stem as well. Haven't decided on handlebars or brakes/rotors yet... was thinking hayes strokers or maybe something shimano... Still trying to decide if I want to leave all the stickers on from the PO, I"m thinking I may leave some on but not all

very north Scottsdale yes, was at Brown's Ranch Trailhead last week, this week was Trail 100, can't remember the section name but there were lots of natural "Steps" and after an interesting Endo I'm switching from QR to a Though Axle setup.. speaking of browns ranch trailhead... adding these as well:

Here's an updated picture of my bike, still need to replace the brake cables but part of me wants to get some dura-ace levers to replace the dia-comps that are on right now first. Nothing near as clean as what some of you are running for road bikes on here but it gets me from point A to point B in commuter mode rather easily and converts back to touring duty really easy. I really want to get my crankset cleaned up a lot more then it currently is I just haven't had time to polish it up yet.

next time I'm in the area or your in az we need to ride for sure man How do you like how the chris king hubs roll? I am currently running ancient shimano hubs but the last time I really had someone service them he said they were getting end of life so I've been asking around on people's opinions who have more then one road bike

Picked this up yesterday after reading up on come of the components and was in my size and talked them down a lot. Took my copper brush to it last night and did some pretty heavy scrubbing to it at that point to get it where it was at (just sat in the a/z sun for a while) I'll order new brake hoods and get the bar tape replaced. Already have new tires/tubes and a shifter lever on order, I'm wondering if I should leave everything like it is and just really deep clean all the components or replace a few things here and there (Pedals/saddle). I can't do too much spending since we are saving for a wedding but little things I can sneak by off cl/ebay/lbs if they don't get to high. Hoping to put some serious miles on this, right now I'm averaging 12-20miles a day on my mtb bike Ninja edit of sorts, here's what it looks like 3 days later
