  1. LOL, I can see the lawsuits. I refuse to believe the provincial gov. is that stupid.

O.T. Last week I was hanging out at the local neighbourhood gas station with my sister, and a random pitbull, no collar or owner in sight, runs up to us. Friendliest pup in the world, he followed me home. Then spent the next 45 minutes destroying a tree. the dogs are required to wear muzzles around here.

  2. Another problem with the R bumper is it's designed for the more angular wheel wells of the S/V70. the C70 wheel wells are completely rounded. So the bumper seems to intrude on the shape of the wells, throwing it off. I'm sure some more minor modification could solve that.

  3. I just did a rough job here. It explains why I never liked the R bumper on the C70. There's that skirt line the S70 and V70 have that the C70 doesn't, so the R bumper on the C70 never seemed to fit. It clashed with the rest of the design. By eliminating that line, as seen in this picture, it starts with a smooth surface that is carried on the rest of the car.

It's much like the 850R bumper. It has that smooth side profile look I'm talking about.

  4. Here are some pics of it, although they are both pics I photoshopped with a black grill, although I think he ended up taking my advice and painting it, so it probably looks like this now anyways.

Nice PSing. The first pic looks dynamite. That silver grille he was rocking for the longest time was hideous on saffron.

  5. Same sort of thing happened to me last night. My brakes were doing their usual constant scratching and squeeling noises, but much worse this time. I could smell the front driver's side. When I got home, I pulled into the garage. Front driver's side assembly was just radiating, it was so hot and smelled. But the other side seemed just find. I drove around in a circle slowly and had my g/f stand outside the car to see what was making the most noise. It turns out it was my rear brakes. But they don't heat up cray like the front's do.

This was odd, because in no way at all was I even using them that much. I had 4 people in my car, and we were just casually driving about 15km, then the brakes just started to go nuts. I also noticed my balljoint (which will be replaced soon) was making much more noise than usual, and my car would shake occasionally at only 60kph+. My tires have so many clip and sht on them from attempted balancing, it's impossible to fix.
