I do not believe there is an aftermarket supplier for door Check straps. Was it installed tightly also you might have had damage to door area that was not quite visible, I had the same problem after I replaced mine, the bad stap wore down mounting point and new strap did it in. I looked for aftermarket straps & could not find any. My volvo shop told me OEm is only replacement. I paid $45 to weld area. GooD luck
