I was pretty sure that Infiniti was not launched yet in Europe, it's only in Russia now, not going to the rest of Europe until 2008 . Still, my point stands.

I still stand by my position that they won't sell it. HOWEVER, whoever said above that Nissan/Renault might buy it is right on the money. Really all that's missing from that partnership is a global luxury marque. Nissan has Infiniti, sure, but worldwide neither of those brands are known for luxury (Infiniti is only a North American brand anyways). Volvo has that reputation, acquiring Volvo would really complete the trifecta for Nissan/Renault imo.

Like I've said earlier, Volvo is the only PAG marque that makes any money. It fits in well with the Ford image and lineup, whereas Jaguar and Land Rover really don't. The new Taurus is built on a Volvo platform, and if no one has noticed, they didn't bastardize Volvo like GM did Saab - rather, they've really allowed a lot more independence on the Volvo side and they have benefited enormously. They might be desperate for cash, but they will sell other stuff first.

they won't sell it, it makes ford too much money. Land Rover/Jaguar would be sold eons before Volvo.

+1. after reading this thread I feel that it would be quite arbitrary to pick a winner (most quality posts? by whose standard?) , and the bias will certainly be towards those with more heavily modified cars, but hey. whatever it takes to keep the site quality.

hey, west bloomfield cops will give you a hard time if you have tints - if you do decide to go that route, make sure you have the doctor's note in your glovebox. they love nothing more than pulling kids over just b/c of the windows. ps nice parking garage shot we'll have to do a photoshoot in december when I come back from da UK
