honestly it just seemed like strategy for me. I would have no issue with people only wanting live interviews, in fact, I would be concerned if no live sessions were offered. Absolute control in this case I think makes sense -- your issues are your responsibility, why would you want to comment on something that wasn't in your hands? This whole news article I think was taken out of context, the title of the article "Obama Team 'Controlled' Media Coverage" just is begging for people to think that if an issue wasn't what exactly the spin they wanted to be on TV the "Obama Team" would go kill someone or something. I'll disclose that I voted for Obama because he was most in line with my political views.

lol not after her speech last night. To be honest I'm glad she wont be running with Obama -- she's a horrible lier imo. Obama has a lot of young voters I think, also he's got a lot of the internet. We'll see how this plays out but I think that Obama will be a good president(hes handsome, isn't he? lol). but seriously I think that Obama and Edwards will be a great duo.

I've seen your wife's work, Justin. I didn't see anything in her portfolio that showed any graphic design. Have her explain to you what a vector image is, and if she knows what it is, how to do it. There is a reason it takes 20 hours to do a project like that. anyway, I'm off to steal a bumper and rep the swedish flag because I drive a swedish car, not because I'm 1/2 brazilian and 1/2 american.

he's 18 years old and can hardly afford his car payment for his dad. Show a little respect for someone who put in 20 hours into a poster contest on VS for an HID kit he actually wants. I voted for his poster because of the clean simple design and the vector image of the 850. Most of the posters had horrible color schemes, hard to read text or simply put, too complicated. Look at a poster in the mall or a billboard.

I would like to state, I love this site. I never dreamed that I would actually meet people who thought of volvos having potential. I didn't think that a meet would work in this area, but I did one anyway, back in 2005. Now Chase has taken over the "NC Crew" and I make it to meets when I can. I have met many people who have volvos and have visited volvospeed, but never stayed. Usually the reason was "I didn't like it because everyone just said 'search' to me!". With that said, I've tried to find anything to help the new member, welcome them to the site, and I also tend to get a little mad at the people who say "search!" I would say, to everyone, that they should really just try to help out the new members, make them feel wanted, since they are(as Chuck said). ---- Publicity: As far as getting our name out there, there are PLENTY of volvo drivers, if even 5% of those people liked cars, which I'm sure they do, there is a huge potential to having a good community base here at volvospeed.
