According to the Lars Anderson website, Swedish Car Day is set for 15 October, which sounds about right. It seems there will also be greater presence at this event by Volvo corporate, as they are listed as a sponsor this year.

For future reference: to remove sap from glass, use either 3M bug & tar remover, or gingerly coat a rag with some gasoline. Bug jerky can be removed with paint cleaning clay (makes windshield unbelievably smooth). Take your scratches to the pros -- they have the technology ...
