Not everyone is perfect and national healthcare is a good effort toward put money to better use to those living within the United States. Sarcasm has lost in the interweb 1. Are you saying that if we did not go into Iraq that things would have gotten better over there and if we leave it will not go back to the way it was?2. On top of that, he contained Nuclear Testing to underground areas to prevent radiation. He was also much more subtle with how he handled Iraq. Everybody focuses on the Bay of Bigs, as that was a bit of a blunder (casualty wise).A lot of what Kennedy said could not be carried out because he was assassinated, but if you look up "New Frontier", you'll find a lot of info on his tax ideas. I'm guessing you don't know about the children (black children) who were not let into an Alabama school by the state. Kennedy sent troops down and intervened, allowing them to go to school. That would be that little thing called the Civil Rights Act of 1964.He also focused on allowing more immigration from Latin America and ASIA, so you might wanna thank him.And he wanted to explore a little bit of that area in the sky called space.He was awarded Pacem in Terris after his death.If you want a good read, Profiles in Courage has a few stories about some ballsy Congressman. Interesting, being handsome will get you votes. I personally blame this mentality on MTV. So was JFK. I bet he wasn't a good president. Harvard Grad. War Hero. 1st Catholic President. Youngest President. Programs became foundations for social welfare programs, the space agency, and the civil rights movments.
