jeff, how jacked are you to do that? haha

when did you leave boston?

Heh. Jacked? Not so much. I've done okay for myself though, lol.

Training > body mass/build any day of the week ;) [but for argument's sake, 6'3" 210lbs... Not "big" by anyone's standards]

I left Boston in '06- Left with the ex, still regret it every day. I'll be back there within the next five years, guaranteed.

I lived a couple places when in Boston. I lived in Southie for a long time, lived up on Packard's Corner for awhile, and before I left the city I lived in a condo in Kenmore Square. I grew up on the North Shore.

No military... Although I commend and respect service immensely.

As for training, there's about 5 years Filipino Pekiti Tirsia Kali (as well as some other families of Kali and Eskrima) and Indonesian Mande Muda Pencak Silat. Also got a smattering of Mae Mai Muay Thai, Krabi Krabong, and Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu. I've also spent time doing IDPA and other defensive firearms training... stuffs, haha, but I mostly work unarmed; that is, without firearms. Personal preference. I'm an avid shooter, and I really do enjoy it, but with work, I just prefer to carry alternatives.
