Don’t be so quick to judge. I have more pain then you will ever know. Some mornings I can't move. Standing in one place kills me. If I kneel down on the ground for an extended period of time, I struggle to get back up. I have chronic joint pain and it's not going away. I see a rheumatologist 2 times a month. Some nights it’s so bad I don’t sleep. Oh, BTW I take nothing for pain. I work out, jog, eat healthy and take non-euphoric, non-narcotic supplements to help. Like fish oil, chondroitin and glucosamine. I try to stay healthy and non-medicated. My doctor tries his heart out to shove Roxycotton and Percocet down my throat. But at the end of the day, I am responsible for what I take. I will not be that guy, I have seen it ruin too many lives.

suprise, you're not any worse off than i am. i take all that omega-3/C&G stuff as well, try biofeeed back, and self hypnosis sometime. narcotics don't work on me, and my doctor doesn't prescribe narcotics anyway.

at least i can get a jolt of cortisone in my tailbone every year so i can sit down, since i can't stand up for 5 minutes either.

so, yeah i feel exactly what you feel - endless pain everyday for the rest of your life.

i have degenerative disk disorder, what do you have?

RA and Hypothyroidism.

I'm really proud to hear that there are others that do not deal with their chronic pain in a destructive way. I would have to say we are the minority tho.

To pull this back into the topic. If I was given medical mary-jane to deal with the pain, I would not do it. Mary-jane is not as bad as other drugs. However, it enters you into an attitude, life and culture that is shared by others that do worse drugs. Smoking mary-jane puts you in the same group as all other junkies in the minds of employers, insurance companies and in most cases the law. Until it is federally legal like tabacco, that will not change.

as a long time chronic pain suffer i would take anything that would relieve the constant pain.

if you ain't sick then STFU; your opinion is worth nothing.

be glad you have your health if not your sensibilities.

Bad to hear mate, i was recently diagnosed with chronic pain but have been trying to get treatment for the last 3 yrs related to it, had 3 operations on my knee, some disc problems, a small bulge in my back touching a nerve causing sharp pains i my back n leg and had a numb spot under my knee which get pins n needles, i can't stand for more than 15 minutes at a time, sit initally for like 10-15 mins until it gets to the piont where i have to lie down. I find the medication is really hepling me but i try to exercise and do my stretches prettty much every hour. I can't jog or run, driving sucks but what ppl don't understand is that the normal things that they take for granted we have problems with like cooking, cleaning, showering, going to the toilet,getting changed can be hard to do.

My thoughts:

Christ I'm blazed right now.

Me too homie. :lol::lol: :lol:
