64pvolvo1800 Posted January 16, 2009 Report Share Posted January 16, 2009 7pm - home from work8:30pm - leave from home in northern VA12:30am - arrive @ i-95 exit 79 in north carolina1:30am - finally find the car we needed to pick up*, at the police station, and break into it**2:15am - leave from johnston county, north carolina6:30am - 2 miles from home and traffic dead stops (rush hour? accident? both?)6:45am - homenow - bout to drink a Drank and pass out12pm - need to be at work*friend borrowed other friends car (who i went with) to drive to FL and back... gets pulled over in NC with god knows what kind of drugs ($205,000 bail - srsly)... cops are nice enough not to have it impounded so long as we come get it** we got a break in toolkit... as we get started a cop rolls up... "oh, so you got the tools already"... keys in the trunkYou're lucky that sonofabitch didn't get seized and put on the auction block. Florida would've taken it no matter whose car it was. Kinda makes you think twice who you loan your wheels to I bet. Not always, all my rental cars that were stopped while on a drug run were returned to me, no questions asked. A POV would most certainly get seized though. I used to rent cars to the girlfriend of the biggest drug runner in the Gainesville/Ocala area (according to officers). I had no clue, the cars always came back mint, tons of miles but uber clean. Then one day, he gets pegged, she gets arrested as she is returning my car.... Epic. Yeah, i was living in Indiana when that happened but we were actually driving to Florida that weekend and got stuck in Nashville in the last hotel room they had.
