i think my dipstick is messe dup, it won't show i ahve above a cetrain amount of oil no matter how much i put in. so i'm scared to put anymore in. i'll just have to add a quart every time i see the oil light come on through a turn

Do not wait this long! That is becoming dangerously low. Hell I'm pretty sure you'll get lifter clatter before the damn light comes on.

Is it registering above the low mark on the dipstick? You know to wait a maybe 60sec after pouring in to let the oil reach the pan until measuring right? And measure with the car off, wait a minute or two after shutting the car off to measure to give time for the oil to collect back in the pan.

you could always just do an oil change and that way you will know how much youve got to start out with. and i think someone said something about putting a piece of wood underneath to catch any potential oil dripping. could just find an old dirty towel and spread it under there.

yeha i know it's sketch. i'm getting it looked at soon. i'm just really afraid of overfilling it. basically my dipstick is like twisted at the tip or something and i think it was me. so basically it can't go down all the way or something, i'm not sure but it was dumb of me. anyway, hopefully it will all be solved soon.
