DonutsDemise
yup. too many other problems with the one i have now. and an old one and some tools would be a good investment i think. i think if you ended up just buying the tools to fix the one you have now you'll come out ahead with a good running car and a nice array of tools and some valuable experience. just put 5w40 or 10w40 synthetic in it this time. khax
ehh i don't really have the ability to swap the engine with equipment i have available even if i had tools and i'd still have an automatic. i might not get another car at all but we'll see. BtownVolvo
"The interpretation of a written instrument, even though it involves what might properly be called questions of fact [citation], is essentially a judicial function to be exercised according to the generally accepted canons of interpretation so that the purposes of the instrument may be given effect. [Citations.] Extrinsic evidence is 'admissible to interpret the instrument, but not to give it a meaning to which it is not reasonably susceptible' [citations], and it is the instrument itself that must be given effect. [Citations.] It is therefore solely a judicial function to interpret a written instrument unless the interpretation turns upon the credibility of extrinsic evidence." (Parsons v. Bristol Development Co. (1965) 62 Cal.2d 861, 865.) Where conflicting extrinsic evidence is present, as here, an appellate court will uphold any reasonable construction of the contract by the trial court under the general rule of conflicting evidence. ( Id. at p. 866; Morey v. Vannucci (1998) 64 Cal.App.4th 904, 913; 1 Witkin, Summary of Cal. Law (9th ed. 1987) Contracts, § 681, p. 615.) Now imagine that for 14 solid pages. Yup, I'm in hell. cassie
so you're looking for an older volvo that will need more love n care instead of fixing your current one? I've only posted once and I'm already going to have to argue about people loving RWD or FWD? Man. If he wants a good project car, let him work on a rwd volvo. Its easier, and since he doesnt know that FWD wheels needs spacers on a RWD car, i think easier sounds good. And *cough* more fun... hahaha btw khax you live in wes linn? I live in tigard...you'd probably like my car. hahawest linn rather

s70turbo1998
If he wants a good project car, let him work on a rwd volvo. As long as they don't have foglight bulbs that need replacing or need oil then he will like it.
