1337-850
Sorry i was wrong! Your talkin about a 996 i think? Its no an Exam... get over your self Just trying to give the OP the correct info... Don't know - you'd have to check the part numbers I provided. Cayman S, Boxster S -whatever that is. AFAIK all non-"S" models have the black calipers, Red's come on "S" models and Turbo's as well as GT2/GT3's without the PCCB package. If you aren't familiar with Porsche parts etc... I would suggest taking the easy way out and going with IPD's BBK, it will save you the hassle of collecting and dealing with used parts, defunct sellers etc... mdlimy
Anyone figure cost on calipers? It would be nice to get some rough estimate prices on all these calipers.

YellowBox
Just finished installing the 993's up front with S60R 330MM rotors on my T5R.......used 15MM spacers with Titans and ended up buying 20MM spacers because of closeness between Caliper and 17" Titan rim. Noticed vibration when coming to a stop after install and it was suggested to Torque lug nuts down to 85-90 lbs. Also installed S60 "R" calipers with 330MM rotors on rear using CJ's brackets (for both front and rear) but Titans would not clear rear calipers. When installing rear R calipers for the 850's, you also need to cut brake dust plates to be able to fit brackets/calipers correctly. It was easier for me to remove the dust plate from the vehicle to make the cut. You will need to remove hub, hand brake shoe pads in order to remove dust plate, Hub requires a 36MM socket to remove.

steve s
Brembo F40/Lotus whole kit = #305850 from stillen caliper, all i know is it's the lotus caliper, i couldn't find any stampings on the caliper itself aluminum hat --> from stillen brembo rotor 320x28, available in either slotted or cross-drilled per side, u also need (which require maintenance as they develop chatter when the springs come undone) (8) 6-mm flange bushing (8) screws (8) washers (4) mclaren clips/springs (4) spring spacer pads, seems the rear of the "ferarri 05-07 F430" fits
yangotang
996 front calipers also fit S60R rotors I used them on the back of my AWD - rotor is the same OD as the front 928/993TT fronts.. admittedly they are smaller than the 993TT/928 calipers I have up front, but should work on the fronts - bolt spacing 130mm - never bothered to check if that's the same as my Front BBK spacing.. 996 351 425 996 351 426 996 352 949 03 pads 999 073 402 01 bolt x4 Joe, Who makes the bracket for the 996 front calipers on the rear of the awd? I want this setup since the S60R rears won't work... --Alex

dublin14
Depends on the wheels? 17" pegs!
lookforjoe
Depends on the wheels? Yup. Clears 17x8 pegs (38 offset) - don't know about other rims
dublin14
Yup. Clears 17x8 pegs (38 offset) - don't know about other rims I thought because the 996TT calipers are thicker you need spacers! As far as i remember the 993TT bracket also works with these!
rj240
Yup. Clears 17x8 pegs (38 offset) - don't know about other rims Just to clarify, are you talking about on the rear of the car (like you have), or about the front also?
