flyfishing3 Posted August 28, 2009 Report Share Posted August 28, 2009 i move in tomorow at 7 am to college for the first time.. kinda nervous grow a set. its no big deal. find some friends. go low and slow until you find what you can handle. biggest mistake is getting so F'ed up, make an ass out of yourself, bang some pig, it sticks all through college and you can't shake the rep. ask dave. you'll want to go nuts. believe me. go low and slow. act mysterious(not pyscho) and you'll be pulling tail and meeting the right people. Waking from sleeping is instant, Quicktime X has some sweet features, zero lag when I move over to bring up the dock, programs start up and quit faster, no lag when I go to select an application in finder...so far i'm impressed! I just finished my first week of my fourth year. Girlfriend of 2 1/2 years broke up with me a week before classes started. And honestly, 2 weeks later I could care less Get out and meet girls, party if that's your thing, and pursue absolutely anything you have the slightest interest in. I'm doing grad school here anyways so I'm ready for the long haul. She wanted space/time/wasn't feeling the same. Nothing I can really do but give her her space and there's no point in wasting time moping about it. I told her that if she ever wants to talk about it or reconsider I'll be there for her, but I'm on my own now so definitely enjoying the single life as much as possible.
