caanglin
Have a small oil leak (a single drip once a day). Found out the base has a garage you can rent time in Going to change my oil, put a new drain plug washer in and see if that's it. Also going to replace the turbo drainpipe seal. But I forget which way is best to go at it. Reach down from the top, or come at it from below? I miss that. Was like $5 an hour for a lift and all the tools you could need. Fudge_Brownie
I miss that. Was like $5 an hour for a lift and all the tools you could need. Yep, $5 to hop on the lift, dump the oil, no disposal worries, and plenty of oil-soaked tools As for that drain tube, going from the top would have been retarded. My memory of what it looked like up there was a little different. I did snap the bolt that pinches the brace between the drain tube and the feed line. Hope it isn't that important, because I didn't put it back on.

Young Burnsy
I'm pissed and I yanked my ebrake when I parked just now and broke something and now it's totally limp. What happened to it and how do I fix it?

Young Burnsy
Either the parking brake shoes came delaminated, cable broke, or needs to be adjusted. Well I just replaced the shoes so. How would I go about checking if the cable broke?

If you pull up on the ebrake, and it doesn't do anything (no resistance), that would be a good indication.

More then likey the cables broke at where they attache to the rear delta links / or rear lower control arms . for some reason where the plastic cover termintates they have a tendency to rust and rust badley I would pretty much plan on replacing both = removing the carpet and such from the interior and spending some quailty time underneath your car

I guess I'll live with out an ebrake for a while and fix it when it gets nice out again. Thanks Josh & Justin.
7 VII 7
Heads up, there is a White 854R on ebay right now with low miles. I looked into buying this awhile ago. The miles are not accurate. If you look at the carfax and call the places that had the services you will see that when they had the car in years ago the mileage was over what it is now. It was not just ONE place that I called to confirm. FYI
