Brad850
Hey Y'all I just called the number for the 850, and talked to Sean. He sounds like he is in rough shape, told me he is living out of the wagon, and selling things here and there for gas and groceries. He says he has lost health insurance and is dealing with depression/anxiety without his meds. Says he doesn't have net access, and that all the talk about him being in the guard are false. He also says he's kept in contact with PJ on the board. He asked me to email him with the details of our sour transaction, and he would mail cash when he could, as he can't paypal. I did, but I don't think he will or can pull that off soon. I told that a lot of people are concerned for him, and it would be nice to know how he is doing, but he doesn't want to/ can't deal with the financial issues now. He should admit he owes a bunch of people money, and tell them he knows, and will pay eventually. Seems too bugged out to handle it. I'm pissed about losing 30bucks, but would be happier if he would have responded and said he couldn't settle up, yet. I don't think anyone is getting refunds for the foreseeable future. Calling that number probably won't help either, but if you get to talk to him, tell him to let everybody know his situation and that he will make right in the future if he can. ..........whats with all these new people coming on this thread and defending sean?
Fudge_Brownie
Keep in mind that many members don't post regularly, but will engage in transactions from group buys or the for sale forum. Read his reply carefully and you'll see he has a vested interest; he's been ripped off as well.

Scootdiggity
that would be me too. Any chance he would tell us the name of the shop that the turbos are being worked on? I am sure the shop would be happy to recieve money for the work they have done and possibly we may get our stuff back?? Last I heard the shop didnt even exist, it was part of his ploy, If ipd-lucky was the only person to recieve a defective turbo than I feel no shop ever existed. My friend had a similar situation and filed report on this site http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx You should have seen how suprised the scammer who never shipped anything was when the law showed up at his door. He got his money all back. You guys need to be more proactive rather than waiting for a miracle. Whoever was ripped off fill out form. Its also a fedral crime because it was fraud across state lines so the fbi would get involved.
boxpin
Reality is, this is a single guy that took some people to the cleaners. In the grand scheme of problems in California this would not get any attention. He is one guy not a corporation that is doing bad business. I live in North Ca, he is South, I cant get to him. All I want is my angled housing back, it was ported. From the sound of it, we will never see anything and probably at this point, unless someone is willing to go speak to him face to face, this is a closed thread. But this won't hurt. I'll report back.
