Fudge_Brownie
I agree that it was 50/50 chance to find a picture in the old style listings, but if you look now at the new system, there is still an alarming number of listings that don't have pics. It should be required to add a picture if you want to sell in the new system. Some pics > No title pics
lookforjoe
I actually like the structure of the new FS. I do think the differences between Basic & Silver should be outlined right there before you register, so you're not left guessing what the differences are in fee schedules. Not sure if it's just me, but I did have trouble finding a auction that was there when I went to first look at the redirect, but after I registered, did not show up in searches using key words from the auction title. I had to use my History to go back & find the auction I wanted to buy. 1
matt b
The only issue I've run into is a small delay between the time you delete an ad and the time it shows as deleted. Hussein was able to purchase an item I had deleted about 10 minutes prior (assuming the PP timelines are accurate). Either way, the new format works great for me. There's something to be said for being able to browse, buy and pay all at once, without gobs of PM's and waiting in line until the 5 morons who called dibs have backed away. ohsleeper
i havent read all of this so maybe someone has thought of something similar...but what about a section in either the new for sale site or in the fs feed for people who want to list multiple items? i think the biggest disadvantage of the new set up it seems like way too much work for little items like switches and relays or whatever... i just think an option like that would be nice. like a "garage sale" section 4

cheapwagon
That's true, what should someone do if they are parting an entire car out? See what I am doing. If it is wrong just let me know and I can change or take it down. If I need to kick back some cash to VS in the end I will. I am not going to be making much on parting a 97 GLT though. <_<

Yeah - after you emailed me with the info & refund, it made sense that I couldn't find it just moments later Still sorry I missed them, unless it was only a pair ( I had assumed set of four) :D 1
Karlson
I actually like the structure of the new FS. I don't. It was working fine for many years, and now Charles invented a new wheel. 1

May be I did miss tons of bad stories about bad dealings in FS, but VS is the only internet board that help buy/sell parts for 850/x70 models. Yep, still have my E and installing new mods these days, Volvo performance parts are SOO cheap comparing to AMG :)
