Che'_Moderator
For those of you who are not seeing images, the problem is in a mis-configured security app. If you have this problem you will see instead of the image you want. It fix this problem add volvospeed as a trusted domain, or disable cookie control. Norton and Zone Alarm are confirmed to have this problem

Plan_B
Like the Admin said, once you do this you might have to refresh your 'puter, once you do that and get back on VS everything should be fine. I use a Gateway with windows XP :D
beachnut
Gah .... I've had this problem for days but only on my home PC (Dell running XP). I get red X's however for all the pics, smilies, link images, etc. I've done all the things you mentioned in IE and in Norton Firewall, but still no go. Any other ideas? beachnut
K, thanks Charles ... I figure it out and it was in Norton. For those of you running Norton Internet Security:Go to Privacy Control -> Configure -> Advanced -> Add ... then add volvospeed.com. After adding volvospeed.com, highlight it in the list of websites, click the Global Settings tab on the right, then under the "Information about visited sites" you must clear the checkmark for "Use default settings", then click the bullet for "Permit" ... refresh your browser, voila! Why? I have no clue ... doesn't make sense, but after about an hour of playing around with it, that's what I found caused my problem.
