Burn-E
That saves your ass from getting sued in the event that an accident happens with your gun. How does it protect others in the event you go crazy with the gun or someone else does? It replaces the horse once it's out of the barn - or at least some pre-determined monetary value. What it doesn't do is prevent gun violence.

"PLEASE NOTE: The NFALI does not cover activities involving horses or businesses." lol it was in response to fudgebrownie. sure you can get insurance for the most messed up things, but why? not to mention the premiums. WTF would i get insurance for me going crazy and killing people, then killing myself? It doesnt even pay out if i kill myself. I live in a world of morons, i spend monthly approx $500-$1000 on damage from criminals. I can not do anything about it. The police do nothing, i have cameras, i wear a vest (its horrible hot and unconformable), high fences, a dog, I live in fear everyday. These guys have weapons and im not allowed anything. what am i supposed to do?

flyfishing3
F all you guys and your guns Here is what I'm having to deal with A message from the Superintendents office: Over the past week, the Murrysville Police and district administrators have been investigating alleged comments and rumors regarding the potential for school violence to occur on December 21st targeted at the Senior High School. Based on the information that has been gathered, we have no reason to believe that the threat is valid; however, given the heightened sense of awareness surrounding school security and our desire to err of the side of caution we will have the following additional security measures in place for Friday, December 21: All students will be greeted in the morning by additional Murrysville Police, uniformed security officers and District Administrators. At the SHS and the MS, students have been advised to bring only those items to school that are absolutely essential. If possible, all bags should be left at home. Any bag, purse or other belonging brought to school may be subject to search that morning. We thank you in advance for your help in communicating this message to your children and for your continued support of our efforts to ensure the health, safety and welfare of our students and staff. This message is also posted on the website for your information. Any questions should be directed to your building principal. No guns, I'm not having to deal with my petrified kids

Fudge_Brownie
Mike, that's BS and frustrating on so many levels. It's overreactive sky is falling paranoia. They are reacting to "alleged comments and rumors"? Fire them, they're retarded.By far most important here is that it has NOTHING TO DO WITH GUNS. Bomb threats are as old as time, and treated no differently. No guns cause your kid's school is retarded and scared them by militarising the school?

flyfishing3
Nothing to do with bombs. That's an assumption My son says"" he heard that kids were going to bring guns and shot up place since Mayan calendar says we are all going to die anyway
Fudge_Brownie
You're relying on what a HS rumor mill is producing? And I'm not assuming anything about bombs, I'm saying guns have little to no impact because bomb threats will still be the scare tactic of choice as soon as you get rid of them. Getting rid of guns would in no way have solved your problem today.
Che'_Moderator
LOL. Mike has been threatening to lock this thread for days since he keeps getting it handed to him. The irony is anyone who can post in political can post in locked topics... So wait, we made a rule no one can post here but people still do if they can? OMG its like gun control. And Pras, you are one of the people I respect most here, but if you think Pier Morgan handled himself even the least bit professionally I think thats gonna change. He was worse than O'reilly.
