Fudge_Brownie
More appearance from that stanced V50youtube.com/watch?v=UqGmUWf0efUThe first 60 seconds of that video, specifically as they drive through the toll, really highlight a depressing trend in recent small-to-mid size sub-$30k-ish body styles in that a lot of them have similar lines. The edge on the hood, the peaking ends of the headlights leading in to a subtle CLS-esque arch. I don't have an explicit dislike for the design, my problem is that no one seems to be really doing much that differently. Maybe it's just because I don't like change, but I just feel like there hasn't been a lot of really striking designs in this new era of midsize body styles.Speaking of ugly, I just got the bright idea to google image "bed sores". Heard the term a million times but never really knew what it was. Just guessed it was irritation, blisters, etc. ... NOPE. I'd say the results are borderline NWS along the lines of weak stomachs, children etc.

Burn-E
Note to self, don't go to China during the Winter or Summer months. Late Spring seems the optimal time health-wise. It was nowhere near that bad when I last visited. Funny, there's no mention of Beijing's issues with smog in the wikipedia entry. Wonder how long that will last. A deeper exploration of the phenomenon and causes by a couple of Yale Chinese researchers.
ErikS
Like I said in the report, when I arrived (I didn't see the ground from the airplane until we were 200 ft from it) and looked back across the vast terminal at Peking Intl, smog was hovering inside.
