matt b
MATTB this is for you. http://news.yahoo.com/worlds-tallest-dog-otsego-dies-age-5-235357677.html Wow, they call age 5 old age ?! Our female was 11 and the family tree limbs overlapped a few times. Looking at a couple of rescue places locally for Great Danes. Ironically, cat won't make it to 2015, she was diagnosed with advanced chronic kidney disease. I have to pump an IV into her back every day to keep her going. My previous cat had put herself into liver failure and then needed them for a few months to get better, i was able to do them at home. she just laid really still for them the whole time. All the ones friends have had, have had lots of medical issues. Not surprisingly these issues are well documented to the breed. And all the mutts I've known have lived longer, healthier lives. Friends family has a cat that's older than me (24). A few years ago he was in liver failure and the family held a good bye party because he was so close to death. Yet he recovered and is still kicking hard.

Not that all Great Danes are necessarily great pets and good with kids, but for the most part you have a better handle on how the dog will behave. Having said that, looking at some local mutts for the reasons your mentioned and since we are more concerned about a gentle dog than a pretty one. We'll see, haven't said anything to the kids yet and won't until we have a dog lined up.
FINN
Hey S70/850 suspension components swap over to C70 correct?
Timbo Slice
Yes sir, '98-'04 C70 will take the same suspension as P80s. Only discernible difference is they have a ton more room in the rear for bigger, wider wheels
FINN
Awww yiss. Well I'm on the lookout then for a C70 with a blown engine.
