Been dragging my feet, but it now runs. Everything sounds good, a little high on the idle though. TA's installed yesterday. Haven't driven the car.. aside from moving it in and out of the garage. Next up is tackling the body work.

After 2 years... some progress has been made. Dad (laird) is moving. His garage is where the wagon has lived and been worked on since it's aquisition. Due to the move and also because it's no longer wise to motorbike, progress has been accelerated. Couldnt have done it without him, thanks dad. Decided to paint it midnight blue Volvo 604. The wheels are Nissan JSO olive green pearl. I used 5 Star Extreme primer which can be mixed a few different ways for different things; Sealer, high build, and high build flex. Paint is a single stage urethane by Limco. Far from complete, but I'll let the pics do some talking.

I assume you said suby in reference to the colors however, this blue is not even close to Subaru blue and I don't recall green being an option for wheel color. ;-) thanks man.. I'm looking forward to it as well. Been a long time coming.

Thanks andyb5

No, not close to suby blue, better. Green? Hmmm I see a tiny bit of green hue, I suppose.

Lighting is throwing it off. Here's a mirror cap in the same color as the wheels.

I love seeing people doing things the right way

Awesome work! Can't wait to see it all buttoned up!

The right way? I'm flattered. Ha! Thanks dude.

WOW this is amazing work. Wish I had the space and knowledge to do this, I'd paint my wagon in a heartbeat.

Great work! Look forward to seeing it completed!

Thank you! Space helps.. my garage is a 3/4 car garage.. I feel your pain! I was just fortunate enough to have my pops allow me to take up his 3 car for the job.

Love gold and blue! Can't wait to see it out of the garage!

I am yet to see it in the sunlight, hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get some good shots of it.

Since we did this over a few days, all ending at about 3 am, I'm surprised we got the paint on the car and not each other's foreheads.

I got paint on my dome, want some?
