What specifically would you use the heli for? I know some people use them for their businesses like real estate, event coverage, etc., but just on your own is it just a hobby type thing? The quad would be used mainly for car events, i attend about 15 a year, so when i get bored it would be cool to take out and do some video. Also like to try to integrate it into some of the other hobbies i do like shooting sports related. Be cool to have for work too lol. Get some pretty good aerial shots of the facility's. Plenty of avenues i could use it in but biggest would be pleasure and car events since i attend those more then i go skeet shooting or archery with a few old friends. This year i can see it used for the following EuroJam SOWO Fixxfest Orlando Gtg About 2 or 3 other yearly volvo events and maybe 3 or 4 other euro car events. Then i might bring it to a few smaller events but i doubt it. Firework show in my hometown would be cool to film from the air like ive seen done a few times. Likely be in ocala a few times this year with a few old friends messing around on a friends property shooting. Usually we toss a few Frisbee and shoot them with arrows because why not. Be cool to get that at a different angle. So a bunch of stupid shit. Guess ill get a good amount of use out of it. Im just trying to figure out which one to get. When you go to shows, use it to take photos and whatnot. All other times it's yours to do with it what you want. If you want a seriously good opinion on models, talk to Rye. Been about 2 years but yeah, wanted to be a heli pilot when i was little so parents bought me one and when we got a house with acreage i bought a gas one. Ill keep it for fun for now lol. (Funny story theres 3-4 weekends in a month so i guess itll be getting more use then i originally thought)You don't have kids right now, so maybe you could argue it's the ideal time to get one. Maybe a dual sport (e.g. KLR250 or TW200) would be good? Top speed's are low too if that helps sell it to the wife. You guys have sandpits around there?Are Erie's prices in their inventory tool accurate? Because they want $180 for used 960 headlights. Plus shipping. And it's the same price, broken, perfect, or just the glass. I've checked the inventory on several of my local yards, and I'm not finding any 95+ 960/S/V90's. But for now I guess it does not make much sense to buy a bike ill ride maybe once a month and then the rest of the time itll be locked up in the storage unit. Plus she just told me shes getting her wisdom teeth taken out... soooo looks like im buying a quad and wisdom teeth extraction. Yay Cannot wait till shes done with school. Sorta like how someone would like a lotus. Mat knows his bikes and if he were to tell me some pros and cons vs other bikes of similar styles i could be persuaded to lean towards a different one.
