Tommy.
Got her prepped and ready for my spring break road trip to Colorado with some friends from school. We had all discussed in February how much we wanted to go hiking and camping in the mountains and I volunteered to drive. So that was that and we headed out on the 18th. Replaced control arm, changed oil, got an alignment. Wagon drove beautifully. Had a few close calls with the two trailered trucks, they clearly just don't see me even after I assert myself and show them I am passing by moving out of their blind spot. Either way, I will have to watch out going to Carlisle cause they seem to want to run me off the road... About 100 miles from Denver, oil on the right side of the engine by the oil cooler under the timing cover. Not a ton but I had lost about a half a quart during the 700 miles I had already driven. Preliminary guess was oil filter or oil drain plug, check them and they were kosher. picked up some oil and topped it off. Drove into Denver and no leak and hadn't lost any oil at all, very odd. Got into Denver, parked at the hotel and got into the rooms, and headed out on the light rail to see downtown! Next day met up with Aaron. All I can say is what a guy. Such a hospitable dude, opened up his garage to my car and I to do some tuning! We traced my air leak to my PTC grommet and the boost issue to a non-functioning BCS. Oil leak seemed to be coming from the exhaust cam after further investigation at the hotel. This was great that we found the issues, unfortunately we didn't get to tune, sorry Aaron Then for the next 3 days we camped in the Golden Gate State Park backcountry. What an experience! Parked in the lot at the base of the mountain and hiked 2.5miles to the campsite. promptly built a fire and gathered supplies for our stay. After the backcountry adventure we went to Golden, CO to get some fresh beer at the Coors brewery! Colorado Native, only served in CO, I'd move there just for that beer. Then headed back after that, car drove great, just have to get a new BCS, delete or fix my PTC and do a cam seal (this one will suck). Here are some pics! Little Man Ice Cream Zac likes the wagon Best Calzone I've ever had Hey Aaron! Breakfast Burritos will never be the same unless I can go back to Sam's In Golden! the mountain roads here are absolutely nuts. In the lot getting ready for our hike to the campsite So many cycling shops and even a statue! (All three of us are cycling nuts) Bought this Ended the night in Golden. Had a great time and will be staying for good when I go back

Tommy.
Looks like a blast! CO backcountry is unexplainable to people in the MW that have never been. This is truly how I explain it, you just have to go there and experience it for yourself! Glad the wagon made the trip! Cam seal on that side will be fun She ran like a top the whole time, not a sputter, except for a slight air leak and this oil thing. Probably will do PCV while I'm at it haha. Hows the yeller going?! This is awesome Tommy! Looks like suck a great trip and glad to hear everything with the shaggin is getting sorted. Also, I have the same Kobalt tool kit Thanks man! Tommy.
Did some work with my Dad on the Coral AWD. Got her running. Slight exhaust leak and turbo drain seal may be a bit cockeyed but will check as time goes. She runs and my parents are happy to have another car to use. He likes to sleep here.
Tommy.
Replaced crank seal as well as oil pump o-ring and gasket which is where my oil leak seemed to be coming from. Will be keeping an eye on this. For the new house, I have commandeered the garage and it will serve as the future home for my wagon.Went to harbor freight yesterday and dropped some coin on some tools to start stacking up so I don't have to go to my parents house every time I need to do even the most simple work (i.e. oil change).Acquired: Floor Jack, Jack stands, Torque wrench, Torx sockets, Free screwdrivers, Weighted mallet, Zip ties, Engine decreaser, Brake clean.Getting an intake set-up with an NA manifold and NA throttle body with 960 plate. Looking into new breather system. And catch can, I will be using 3/8" heater hose for the line off the stock PCV box and will be making a custom 3" intake with a 3/8 port to run vacuum back to the intake. 3.5" MAF will be inline with this as well. More doing less talking this Saturday.

Tommy.
So re-doing my catch can idea. Going with one that has 3/4 ports.Did this last weekFront crank seal replacementOil pump gasketOil pump o-ringOil cooler o-ringsand Oil change.Still leaking from somewhere. Going to power-wash it when it stops raining tomorrow and degrease everything. I am at a loss as to where it is coming from. 3/4 of the oil on my pan is from the RMS explosion.Went to figure out why my driver side fog isn't working. Found the problem.
