matt b
That requires money! I have one of the fleece lined cycling jackets which is super nice and I use my triggerfinger skiing mittens, perfect for brakes. I gotta get shoe covers, thats the only thing that bothers me is my damn toes freeze off even under 60 degrees. Tommy, send me your address and I'll send you some of the jackets and fleece items I no longer need. Not sending you bibs/shorts, that's just gross. The position for douchebag is already filled. Are they expanding your department Timo? Now, now, now, why would you go do something like this ? Just trying to live up to the comments I made about you ?You don't belong here.On topic: I'll need to start using Strava more often. I used to use it a bit for road cycling but since have forgot to turn it on the 1-2 days a week I ride road, but I never thought to use it for trail riding to track elevation and whatnot. Who else here uses it? I'll have to add you guys.I use it to track miles. I could care less about PR's, KOM's and other add-ons. But mileage and routes are awesome through Strava. Link it to a Garmin and you'll be all set. I don't have one but everyone I ride/race with swears by them.

I'm 6'4" so anything large usually fits well hahaI use strava to track miles as well. KOM's are for those times my buddies and I ride on the roads together and we try and crush each others KOM that has already been established My friend rode Ragbrai this summer and live streamed his garmin when it was possible, very very cool. survolvo
You don't belong here.I used to MTB a great deal actually. I also worked for my families business where we assembled bike wheels for Santa Cruz Bikes. If you bought a Santa Cruz in the early to mid 2000's, mainly the first run of Blurs, there is a high chance I built the wheels.
Timbo Slice
Holy crap dude, a 48 ?! Were you born with clown feet ? I wear 47s and I'm 6'0. I guess the same goes for me hahaI used to MTB a great deal actually. I also worked for my families business where we assembled bike wheels for Santa Cruz Bikes. Then post something on topic, because that's actually pretty cool in all honesty. You don't belong here if you're going to chase me into every thread and attack every post I make. Let's leave that to the R Forum off topic threads and not muddy this one up with your personal vendetta against me.

iPd Cameron
Finally found a decent fork to match the Epic Comp frame I picked up a few months ago. The bike originally came with a Fox F100 from Specialized but I kept finding that people wanted dumb prices for them on the used market. Ending up picking up this Fox F80 instead for a great deal. Sure it's 20mm less travel but for how I'll be using this bike that should be A-OK. I'm excited to pick up the last few pieces I need to put this thing all the way together and ride it: Edited October 22, 2015 by iPd Cameron

iPd Cameron
any more pics of your shop space? It's not too terribly exciting - just my garage. It's coming along nicely though. When we bought the house the garage was very bare - no insulation, no sheetrock, etc. very dark and with lots of terrible home made shelving. I tore all that stuff out, insulated the walls, sheetrocked it and painted it a nice bright white. I also rigged up some temporary lighting and even doing that really helped make the place usable. The main workbench area needs a little fine tuning but it's slowly morphing into a very nice workspace for both bike stuff and car stuff. It looks generally like this right now (except I didn't have the hose reel mounted yet in this pic), but those H&R boxes, Volvo boxes and the giant Heico box are all out of there now. Oh and the workbench is clean now too. One big advantage of having a small garage that you park your car in every night is that you're forced to keep it tidy and somewhat organized.
