I want to buy ensurance on the shipping, so I think I have to state the value of the package truthfully for it to be covered properly. In my experience, the recipient of the package has to pay an import fee/tax based on the value of the package. Usually when shipping or receiving over-seas packages, it's best to state that the item is a gift and provide a low value in order to keep the tax low. venderbroeck
I'll try to figure out how much the tax is first. The information I found was a little fuzzy, so I gotta search a bit more. Filling in a low value might be detrimental to the shipping insurance. If the package were to be lost I need to be able to replace 11 defloaters. If the tax percentage is acceptable it may not be an issue to enter the true value, as the cost would be split amongst all buyers.
Wesdunns70t5m
If the mexican cartel can smuggle drugs into this country, I'm certain you'll figure something out ;)
venderbroeck
Tiny update again. I've had to deal with a lot of work the last few weeks. The defloaters are coming along fine though. 4 of them are finished save the wiring, 1 is wired, and the others have their soldering partly done. Progress has been slower than I would like, but I will get it done.

Brad850
Hi Maarten, Any update on the defloaters?
venderbroeck
Yes there has been a bit more progress. I've finished soldering the components on all of them. All that's left now is doing the wiring. Here's a little pic of how it sits atm Most of the components are actually on the bottom, so you can't see them on this pic. Hopefully I can wire them up soon. I'm still trying to figure out the shipping stuff. I may just have to split them up into 2 boxes to get the value low enough, but we'll see.

venderbroeck
A little update again. I have almost finished wiring them up. After that comes attaching the plugs and testing. Not much longer now hopefully.
