FINN
Took out a closet to open this bedroom up. This will be the master suite. Next room over is our closet. Setup my office in the barn for now. Starting to get cluttered keeping all the belongings in.

gmsgltr
how about the one in the picture you posted of the completed room? looks like it could be original but this home is an easy 70+ years old...
FINN
Yup that's original. Another shot of the office entrance. And a wild kitty appears.
FINN
Some progress pics. Bedrooms are done for the most part. We love the carpet so much that I'm gonna have them install it in the office as well. I made a beam. New and improved basement stairs. Turok approves of the new toilets. Knocked some more holes into the walls. We wanted to raise the arch but there is a massive load bearing beam I don't want to get into trouble with yet. Love the sunsets. And had to buy a zero turn since push mowing the property would probably take a few hours. Edited April 7, 2016 by FINN

One part of the living room was only 1.95 mtr. high. We upped the ceiling by 30 cm but there was also a huge support beam in the way. Luckily that spot is 2 mtr. high so "doable" New,

theForgottenone
Just ran across this thread. That is one awesome house with so much character. A house with that much land would be million range for my metropolitan area. The only problem with a house that old is potential problem with out dated electrical wiring or plumbing. FINN
Yup. Got lucky though. Previous owner has overhauled both electric and plumbing of the house. Old box in the basement. Newer box in the garage. Plumbing work.
FINN
Still coming along. Had to start cutting down dead ash trees with my neighbor. Detached is getting more attention now too. Got started building work desks.
