My brother in-law says it sucks in the 'gahn right now..... all it is is sand and 50C temps all day, but he gets to go to amsterdam on leave in a few weeks.....does anybody really care whose forces are where and why and how many? But if you had to drink butt instead of a regular great tasting beer..... then yes.....back on topic.war sucks but it works to an extent. Americans cannot stay in 'ghan, they hate them there, well the bad people do, and since us canadians are so nice and no body would every want to kill us(yeah right) they put us there and not in a peace keeping role which is odd for us. We aren't exactly the type of army you would think about when talking about search and destroy missions. Granted I'll be in Qatar which is distanced from Iraq, I still know plenty of marine/army folks who come there for R&R.
