US Rep. John Murtha Democrat of Pennsylvania totally blows it with a premature news conference Thursday when he called for pulling out troops out of Iraq. Sick of the Democratic Party BS the Republican controlled House called for a vote for an immediate pull out of all troops in Iraq late on Friday thus changing the tone of the coming Sunday news shows. On the House floor Rep. Jean Schmidt, R-Ohio, told of a phone call she received from a Marine Colonel. "He asked me to send Congress a message — stay the course. He also asked me to send Congressman Murtha a message — that cowards cut and run, Marines never do," Schmidt said. That gal's message sent the Dems reeling into full panic and attack mode, too good!

In an overwhelming majority the Republicans and the US Armed Services prevailed. In the end, three Democrats, Jose "The Marxist" Serrano of New York, Robert "Whiner" Wexler of Florida and Cynthia 'Tupac" McKinney of Georgia, voted for withdrawal. Six voted present: Reps. "Jumpin Jim" McDermott D-Washington; Jerrold "No Neck" Nadler, Socialists Maurice Hinchey and Major Owens all Democrats from New York, Michael "Cheech" Capuano D-Massachusetts and William "The Baby Killer" Lacy Clay D-Missouri.

Not to be out done, the US Senate Republicans showed their opponent Democrat Party and Springsteen who's really "THE BOSS"!!! Way to go guys!!!

You forgot to mention how Jean Schmidt had to retract her comment

Schmidt didn't retract her statement because she had her facts wrong. She was censured for violating House rules. House rules do not allow members to impugn the integrity of any other members. Her statement may not be included in the House records but it still was said and resonated throughout the House.
