They are getting laughed at. They tried, they failed. However, to have them attempt it... Thing is, we are a little paranoid. Why would he attack us? How do we know that missle wasnt for someone else? Besides, if it got any where near our side of the pacific, we would should it down, then ask if they want to shoot any more. Kim just likes to draw attention to himself.There isnt anything realistic to do against NK anyway, military intervention is out for a number of reasons, and economic sanctions wouldnt do anything because NK barely imports anything from outside of China anyway.
