What stikes me jerk odd is that of the 2 people posting in this, niether have english as a 1st language, yes they are conversing in it perfectly. See what american power projection has done....

Oh and you might want to consider KW's to help hold that power to the ground.

I was thinking for KW VARIANT 2,because I have KONI yellow, and EIBACH springs, but they are very awful.

Missed this, the rods will cost around 170 bucks each and the pistons cost around 100 bucks each here.

You can always check US prices on the pistons, many OEM parts are cheaper in USA.

Scott: Haha! :)

The bad thing is that we have high taxes to the parts that out of Europe.35% up!!!I want to buy these famous IPD sway bars for the front and the rear axle, and I'm thinking this extra money for the taxes.

Same here but you need to ship the parts the smart way, sample, used or gift. ;)

If Ipd refuse to help you, ask a VS guy. :) The guy who send the package need to mark it with these things.

One option is to ask Ipd to write a lower value. Enough of this illegal stuff, would never do it.

Send some Feta Cheese to the member that will help you! Should work... :P

Where sould I search for the S60R pistons in US?What about the piston rings? Is there any preferable brand for these pistons or for this block?

You can buy them at your local Volvo dealer but if you got a T5 you want the smaller 81 mm ones.

S60R pistons for lpt´s and other 83 mm cars.

Wait,wait there are 2 types of S60R pistons?Or they don't fit to my block?My engine is B5234T5.

now about my local dealer........It's a bad story. The people there to the parts, they need VIN number even for a bolt. Many times I have had fight with them.

Ok, listen here. The 2.5 litre engines and some 2.4´s got 83 mm bore, you got a 2.3 and that´s 81 mm.

The best thing you can do is to use S60T5 pistons, let´s say from a 02.

I use the 0.40 OD´s and bore it just to get new straight cylinders.

You don´t want to bore up your engine to 83 mm, you´ll make it weaker and the S60 pistons can handle 500+hp.

Ok Mike I understand now!!!!It was my mistake(S60&S60R).I have high oil consumption that makes my very very unhappy(1litre-1000km)So I'll search for oversize pistons just to be sure that the cylinders will be straight. :) Does VOLVO sells oversize pistons?and what about the rings?

Yeah, just tell them you want 0.40 ones for a S60T5 with B5234T3 engine, buy the OD rings at the same time.

Then make sure to use a good engine shop to bore it. :)
