turbodog
ok, this should be obvious but when you get .4 OD piston you bore your cylinder walls the same .4? would you recommend decking the block at all? or anything else to the block for that matter? Leave one piston at the machine shop and have them measure it for best result. At a rod/piston job as KIM are doing I always make new surfaces at head, block and a valve job. And of course new bearings and gaskets. It´s amazing how much more pressure the head gasket can handle if you give your head and block some love./Mike

No problemo man, I´m here to help./Mike

OEM are the best we Volvo guys can get. Checked the part number for you, 274231 including piston rings. Cost around 110 USD here, maybe 90 Euro each./Mike
Zulu
Have a metal headgasket made no? Definitely deck the block, resurface head etc. Should have the head port & polished for sure, one of the most important aspects of a buildup.

Maybe we can ask some company to make a bunch, like a GB? Probably expensive. The market is huge here if we could get some compant to make it.However, the OEM one is good for over 500 hp./Mike

Just take my gasket there, I'll let you know when I do, how many would you need over there?
