I had one at one point in time, but when I went to install it, I had some subframe damage that prevented it from being installed. Since I couldn't use it, I sold it (to someone here on VS). Some time later, the subframe was actually repaired and I never bothered to get a new skidplate. I think as soon as I get paid Thursday (if I get paid Thursday), I'll buy one. Therefore, more people with more money means places like a Volvo dealership can charge more. Too bad it's 20+ minutes from me. My hometown one is a lot cheaper, but I'm not having my car towed 80 minutes for the repair, and then trying to find a ride home whenever it's finished to drive it 80 minutes back. Spoony Posted August 14, 2006 Report Share Posted August 14, 2006 I told you Koons sucks. There's a place called Han's volvo waaaaay further down on reisterstown rd that is so much cheaper. They live, breathe, and work on volvos only. In the future (hopefully not), you should consider them. They used to be right next to koons (where the friday's is) but they moved because all of the koons customers were coming to them for repairs and they didn't have enough room. My buddy with a slammed vw has put 2 oil pans on now.. i went through a few and I wasnt even slammedwow, I thought the rock was so bad it cracked the internals out of both of your lower bumper vents. I, too, would do the pan yourself. I used to have an aircooled VW with 9 inches of drop and lost oil pans quarterly.I (choose one: need / necessitate / desire) ________ PICS!!!!
