Volvoson
200 my son, 200.originally, i got an 18T for free.. then i traded that for a brand new 18T, and 200 bucks. This is why Kevin can sell a 25 year old an S80 when they are looking for an S4, it's 20x better!

Sadude
Back in the day BSR charged $3k for an intake, dp, catback and ECU upgrade and then they mentioned you also needed a RRFPR for like another $250 and they said this kit made 315 hpLuckily I knew Bo and since he was local to me...I paid no where near that much.Mad props to IPD for doing the research but any intelligent VS member knows that $3k can be stretched much further with patience and lots of elbow grease.18T FTW!!! steve s
complain complain complain seriously, 2600 isn't too bad, considering ipd used to sell their ecu and exhaust for over half that price 10 years ago, and that was b4 inflation!! still have that 97 catalog sitting at home somewhere
Serdar-S60T5
i wonder why they choose the 18T and not the 19T instead ? any ideas ?
Gregg
i wonder why they choose the 18T and not the 19T instead ? any ideas ?motronic 4.3 and 4.4 can't control boost spikes well on the 19T (actually, any of the newer turbos with the angled exhaust flanges and larger exhaust outlets). BREAKAWAY
I bet IPD is making a 100% profit. They don't sell unless they do.

Always looking for a cheaper way to make it happen. You don't put any value on being able to pick up the phone and talk to the people who put the kit/part whatever together and the after the sale service. You 'd rather go the cheapest route and beat your head against the wall trying to work out the bugs than step and get it right the first time. Sometimes the cheapest isn't the least expensive. Time is money, don't waste it trying to save a few cents.I feel like most (not all) wouldn't pay a nickel to watch an ant eat a bail of hay, and you wonder why no one does the R & D to bring products to the Volvo market. If you want to continue to have aftermarket parts for these cars you need to support the companies that bring them to them to the marketplace. The overhead and R & D cost is astronomical. Dont' shoot the goose.I bet IPD is making a 100% profit. They don't sell unless they do.You are sadly mistaken.
BREAKAWAY
Don't get me wrong ipd brings great products. look at my sig. But for a turbo, ecu, exhaust, 3k, come on. The only R and D is the ecu.

BREAKAWAY
if I recall, 18T's aren't easy to come byYour local dealer, probably for 750 to 800.
Guest 300+_T5R_855
Your local dealer, probably for 750 to 800.+ $250.00 core charge, so your in it $1k for the turbo, roughly $900 for the dp, that's $1900 and the kit is what $2600.00 so $700.00 for the ECU and they normally sell for $900.00. Maybe you'd rather pay there overhead for one day. 46 employees and 12,000 sf building. Just don't get it. I'll bet your in a union too.
BREAKAWAY
No I have a 16 bay garage. which is the largest independent volvo repair shop in the us. Again IPD is a great company, they can be alittle high on their prices. like u said 900 for a down pipe and 700 on ecu. Iv had mine for a while, probably b4 most others hit the market. Did not pay no where near that price. So why are they now 900.
