Guest toyotatech81
hi all this is my first post , so any responses will be greatly appreciated. the described condition happened last night after about 30 seconds or of driviing. I've been having the DTSC Failure message for about 6 months, and wouldn't be surprised if its related. Vehicle stops fine, brake fluid level is OK, replaced the front pads and machined the rotors about 9,000mi ago. Have not tested the wheel speed sensors nor do I have access to a scantool which could read the codes. The car has about 183,000 miles so if it needs a new abs module it won't surprise me. I havn't been able to find any related topics on here so if anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.
Piglet
My car had the same error message pop up and a rebuilt ABS module fixed it. Does your cruies control not work? That's a symptom of a failed ABS module
