Resetting Service Light

should have read. 95 to 97 850s and 98 S/v70s :)

thanks for playing!

but I rather give a dude 20 to reset it then have the hassle of taking the bulb out

see, my mistake was believing that everyone here understood that the 850 series i referred to was 96-97, and the S70 was alone in 98 with this type service light.

As for playing, I still believe (most) everyone here knows their model years and series diffrences well enough to have understood.

yeah, I have just heard so many people say they made an 1998 850, so I just figured this was another case.

but yeah service reset light for 98, just slip a indie $10 and get it reset

You'd do that every time the service light comes on? Just go buy the tool then...it will cost you less in the long run, not to mention time+money needed to go to the dealer.
