'98BRICK
So I searched VS and VADIS but came up with nothing. So I already have the rear fog bulbs and switch (came with the car) but they don't seem to work. Both sides look like this:Since VADIS says that the rear fogs and their dash indicator run the same fuse and the indicator works, that's not the problem. I tested the bulbs, that's also not the problem. I'm stumped...can somebody help me out?

msestina
yeah you need an 1156 not an 1157On the pass side, you'll notice the two open connectors near the little finger in the picture. Jumper those together to enable dual rear fogs.

Jumper those together to enable dual rear fogs.I think the 850's rear fog set up is different from our X70's. When I added my dual fog light option all that was needed was a dual fil. light bulb and drilling/cutting the opening wide enough for the bulb to enter. Both sockets are wired in from factory.I had an 850 I did this with as well was only required to do the exact same 2 things. The blocking over the unused from factory rear fog light was a little different but that's about it.

the commissar!
I thought it was the top bulb on the top half of the driver side which is the rear fog on a 98 V70. The turn signal bulb.
'98BRICK
It's the bottom #12 dual filament bulb on the left side...I'm trying to get the one on the right side to work also. Can someone explain the solution in a little more detail? Thanks again!
Jippi 855 GLT
run a wire from the left side to the right side you need a pin to fit in the orig socket
JackPop
Hi, My 98 V70 GLT had one side of the rear fogs out. The bulb sockets where different - one had an extra piece of metal from pin to bulb, one didn't. Different part numbers too. Managed to solder a wire bridge on the back. I cleaned the sockets and put in new bulbs with dielectric grease before the real head scratching. -Jack98 V70 GLT 178k89 240-5 190k88 240-5 285k
