It is very helpful, but i have a haynes manual for my volvo 240 turbo, and I like the layout of it better. From previous experience these manuals have different ease of use and content for different types of cars. does anyone have any opinions on which one is better for the 850? anyone have experience with both, or an alternative like alldata.com. thanks party ppl Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I will end up buying both if someone will tell me that the haynes manual is better for the 850, but not if it also has its downside. I also have both but mostly use Haynes because it is more organized. Although, Chilton has some things that are not covered by Haynes. I can't remember right now exactly what each one was better at, but you'll thank yourself when you're in the middle of a project and the book you're using doesn't have a good description.
