Topic says it. Reading many threads and getting many answers but nothing concrete.

The situation is as such:

-No MPG loss apparent

-No performance loss apparent

-No visible or audible signs of air leak (but am not willing to rule that out)

-Replaced fuel pump to filter hose with a basic injector hose with a slightly larger diameter (cheaper than the 100 dollar dealer alternative)

-Vacuum loss at cold start with symptoms of stalling

Wondering if it is the air pump/sas or something more abstract.

I may have left something out. Ask away please!

Dave, you get the cookie. That hose is torn from the nipple to the elbow. I don't have time to see where it leads so I need to know if it is a special hose or I can rig something cheap.

EDIT: Nevermind. I read a little more in depth and realized it was just a elbow to one of the plastic lines.

if you have not done a PCV replacement and you are over 70k miles, this is a great opportunity to fix the elbow and do the PCV system which will help your car keep from breaking a RMS

checked the spark plugs a when i first got it but none of them were black. Gap im not sure about. What is the gap for sparks?

umm... i think my NA OEM ones are gapped to 0.028 or 0.026 or 0.024... people running higher boost or turbo cars can fun a smaller gap around 0.024
