early_november
I've never heard of such a thing. If the rotors are bad I change them with new ones but the only way I know they are bad is when they are warped or like this one off of (at that time) my son's jeep.I got this, "Dad, my brakes are making a funny noise." ...LeeMy thoughts exactly, I was trying to logically think of how warped/misshaped rotors could cause this problem. The rotors have 7K on them. Hahaha that was me not too long ago complaining to my dad but never about his XC. My sis took it to a little shop in Roanoke Virginia, they seemed pretty knowledgeable. They did the pcv system today for $200 labor.Oh geeze I forgot to mention the drivers side axle boot is cracked, could dirt have gotten in there and f'ed things up? The axle will be replaced next week.maybe 2 possibilities1. control arm bushings went south already. (assuming the replacment arms were cheap knockoffs and not oem)2. wheel bearings are seizing up/starting to fail.check into those as wellI will add that to her list O' Things to Do next week at the shop. Thank you for the suggestions.
