Engine Computer S-70

i have a 1999 s-70 glt and recently had the pleasure of having BOTH the transmission and engine computer fail at the same time. my mechanic says it looks like the car took a high voltage hit from something like lightning. anyway he was successful in locating a transmission computer so i can get out of the limp mode (3rd gear all the time). next he took a known good engine computer from one of his cars and replaced mine and the car ran fine. this proved the existing compuer was no good.

now comes the problem. the failure in the engine compuer is no output on one of the emission check pins so the check engine light is on all the time. the car drives fine but i need to fix the computer. so far he has found 2 replacements, one had broken pins and the second also had output pin failures. he has a third but can't verify by the bosch part number if it is for a s-70 glt. apparently the volvo look up doesn't cross reference the bosch/volvo p/n's.

so how do i verify what the vovle p/n is if i have the bosch part number on the part

does all this make sense. i am located in connecticut.
