00' Na V70 Won't Start

I have a 00' NA V70 with 100k miles on it.

Yesterday I got in it to run an errand and it would not start. I turned over and sounded like it would start and but did not catch. The starter still runs but it does not sound like the engine is trying to fire. I checked the schrader valve at the end of the fuel rail and it sprayed out fuel, I can also hear the fuel pump engage when I turn the key. So I think that it is getting fuel.

I also checked all the the fuses and they are all good.

I did a fair amount of searching and saw a few threads that point to ignition cylinder antenna or immobilizer issues. Tried locking and unlocking a few times with the key with no change. Anything else I can check. I thought I might get a hold of an ODBII reader to check if there are any codes, but other than that I'm at a loss.

Thanks in advance.

i doubt it's the immobilizer then. check the fuel pressure, there might be none at the injectors but enough to squirt some out of the valve.

How would I do that, get a pressure tester and connect it to the valve on the fuel rail?

You getting spark? Might want to also pop off the timing cover and make sure everything is kosher. It's not unheard of having a timing belt or tensioner bust at startup.

I checked the timing belt that is all good.

I finally was able to get it started. Not sure what the issue was. I pulled the fuel relay, and as I cranked it, it started to fire. Popped the fuel pump relay back in and cranked it and gave it some gas and it fired up. Been keeping an eye on it past couple of days and all seems good. So I'm confused as to what it was. Give it a few more days but so far its like it never happened.
