Chilled man
Global warming is BS In 990 AD when Lief Erickson landed in greenland as a viking they grew crops and lived well a few years later (not sure how many need to reread newswpaper)all the vikings left or died due to inhospitable climate of to much snow . Now if you look at greenland (oxymoran) its 95% covered in snow almost all year round . So I guess in 990AD all the automotive gasses and extra C02 from cars then must of created the global warming for them to grow crops in greenland Sorry Global Warming is BS end of the story. khax
One summer in D.C. isn't much of an arguement.exactly. i don't understand why people think global warming means it will be like 10 degrees hotter than the year before or something. it's not a visible change to us year by year, it's gradual. from all the research i've done on the subject i don't see how you could deny it's existence but i suppose everyone is entitled to their opinion. this is the most conservative forum i've ever been on though, i must say. That kind of crap just doesnt happen very often. We also had an F1 tornado make its way over the bay into a town. Weak rotation but still rotation. The last F1 Rhode Island saw was back in the 70's. I expect that kind of weather down here in Florida but not as much up north. It made for a great summer at the news station though :D
7 VII 7
this thread was more about how people bitch when it is affecting them... but when it is not but "still there" by their views you hear nothing... its sad

DonutsDemise
I took these pictures from 38,000 feet on the way home from Sweden...Greenland is melting. If I recall my 2nd grade science book, I think ice melts when the temperature rises.white = ice, blue = water, glacier = meltingI thought there were supposed be icebergs off the coast of Greenland, isn't that why the Titanic sunk off the coast of Canada? (Greenland is north of Canada for those who didn't know...)
