I sent it in a perfectly sized box, with bubble wrap, and news print. And $20 for S+H. Priority box can be had for $8. So far so good, but I don't like hearing about VS folks getting hosed, even if they do like Barack! (JK Boosty) This kind of info will keep us on our toes when other GB's come around. What doesn't make sense is since shipping is prepaid and all those thick sturdy boxes are free why is he not using them?. And then they will even pick the packages up! 100% no excuses. If he had been smart he'd just have sent the ECUs back in the boxes they were shipped in. Now you know.Uh yea, why wouldn't we? We all have working tunes, delivered. Here's what ppl are still missing, before the GB there were similar threads with complaints made about ST. Hell grant sat there and spamed the GB thread on how shitty the tune is. But guess what 10 ppl jumped at the chance to buy a tune. Threads don't do stuff, ppl don't research, and i guarantee the next GB that comes around, another 10 ppl will jump on it. And for those that did get the tune, the tune effin rocks. Nick's situation is full of screw ups on Oliver's end, but nobody ever get's 100% satisfied customers, not saying nick should of been satisfied, far from it. But like i said before this thread will get locked after the 30 days of the last post and archived. Next year there will be a new GB and next year there will be new customers that will never have seen this thread, or did and saw there were 90% satisfied customers and won't care, unless Oliver gets put in his place this could easily happen again, and this thread will not do anything to put him in his place or deter future customers. So why dont we as a community decide to make ST group buys a thing of the past? Make it a rule that speedtuning group buys will not be discussed on this site? I have a ST tune and it runs great in my car, but this customer service is bullshit and its not the first time. We can talk all we want but until we do something about it, we need to shut our mouths. It's up to the consumer to do the research and be aware of the product. Customer service aside the tune works great. It's not the product we need to ban it's the dealer, but who deals in ST other then Oliver?
