Show Your 850/s70 N/a Engine Bay

Hey guys, I don't think that there is a thread like this on here since everyone here flames the n/a's. For those of us that actually like them (I have a turbo too), heres the time to show your car, engine bay or any unique modification to your car that you have made to help the other n/a'ers that are stuck, and don't want to sell for a turbo. So heres my n/a engine bay, car is too dirty to post, I would be super flamed for posting a dirty n/a wouldn't I.

screw it, heres the dirty n/a from a bad angle and shitty camera, flame on

This n/a does the quarter at 15.113 @ 143.52kmh. As I remember, that is faster than stock turbo's at 15.3@82or88mph), and trust me, I raced my blue n/a while I was in my green turbo (bad vacum hoses, clogged pvc, uneven boost) bringing it home, and my girlfriend driving the blue one was pulling on me at 160kmh +. Go figure, time to fix up the turbo for the spring. any questions, you know what to do.

Located near shannonville. Heres the slip for all you non-believers and slow turbo's. Sorry trap speed was 143.25, not 143.52 as previously stated. It is very possible.

so where are all the n/a cars on here, or have they all been scared away by turbo lovers (don't get me wrong, I love and have both, just like each for different reasons).

hey, hey, if I wanted to photoshop, I would of made it in the 14's, plus I only have ms paint (refer to Kittah Says Haro Thar! thread for my skills using paint, last page) Trust me I don't believe in fabricating results, if it ran 16.6 like it did stock, I would state that. It doesn't, so I stated what it does. I only have a shitty camera right now, sure the pic of the slip blows, but you get the gist. I am just trying to stop some flaming, because my n/a can beat some turbos (stock) and even modified ones that the owners don't know what they are doing. Of course this car is still slow, but it is lacking a turbo, and can keep pace with most people on here. Have some faith, as the anvil states on tb, or ss, cant remember, "TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR RIDE". I have a turbo now to play with, also the n/a is at its fullest potential without internals, so whatever. Thanks for your interest, need help with an n/a, pm me.

it is unofficial because shannonville is on an indian reserve (closest track within two hrs drive), and very low budget with cracking assphault and the likes. I think I could do really, really high 14's with a cooler day and nice assphault because this car is a complete dog to launch (as my 0-60ft time states). It has got stuff until 80kmh or so. So if I ever go to a track in TO or OT, I will post those results. Until then though, I'm working on the turbo.

Not a ton of work, just upgraded throttle body, true CAI and some random secrets I have found while wanting more power for the last year in a half, until I picked the turbo up for $1400. This n/a was my passion, still one of them, and you know where those take you. If you don't mind, I will be asking you ramdom turbo questions over the next bit, because you have one of my fav 850's on here, and I'm new to the turbo world (used to own a n/a e30 before going volvo)
