Best Lowering Springs. Period. (only 850)

Hey guys, I know this has been covered before, but I wanted something a little different. I just want to know what your preferences are for lowering springs (max 1.5inches), and thats it,. No why's, or defending your set-up, just the set up alone and one con (no pros), thats it. So one thing you can say bad about your set-up, and thats it, state set-up, and what, if anything, is your biggest concern with the lowering springs. no shocks. Thanks, and much appreciated, I just need a bunch of solid answers for the 850, thanks again, and also again, much appreciated.

what kind of noise are you talking about?

Can´t get rid of a grinding noise when turning the wheel standing still, or going slow. That´s with the Eibachs, brand new Koni FSD, etc.

They are installed correctly for sure, so, that the funny sound you mean?

It kind of sounds like a metal on metal squeak, even with brand new upper seats. Stopped or low speed turning is the most noticeable, it sort of sounds like the coil isn’t seated completely or is trying to turn in the seat. Written descriptions are tough at best, but this would be real tough to record and post an MP3. That might be a first!

now that is interesting! Sounds exactly what i´m having here...though i don´t think you can record it

i was mad to hear that sound after changing almost everything after having an issue with my steering column. Changed shocks, upper seats, everything....

still, can´t think of any reason for it??!

its not the top mount on the rears you have to worry about thats idiot proof its the lower mount and making sure the when you tighten the bottom bolt its dead center and it doesnt slip out of position
