steve s
just a simple pic..got a black box r1 instead of a pac tr-7 (which would've been cheaper) because of easier installation..just hook it up and no prob. still want to put a switch for it on the center console...my last open socket for a switch if u'd believe me.. same position on the passenger side as the tranny-mode is on the driver's side. i'm thinking a power antenna switch or something...donno yet. theunderlord
Does it get in the way of trying to change the fan? or the AC? Did they mount it in the upper DIN or Lower DIN?
steve s
i mounted it on the bottom. was able to secure it better on the bottom. i know it's not perfect sightline, but that's where the original headunit was anyway.it slightly interferes. it covers just the bottom row where all the buttons are, but not the dials. it's ok...it has a "flat" button up top that puts the lcd screen flat for a while b4 it goes back up automatically. and it doesn't interfere with gear selection when it's flat either. Will
Before I get yelled at about hijacking a thread.. someone want to explain the auto climate feature?←slide the air control over to AUT (all the way to the right) and set whaever temp you want to car to be at on the dial and you're done...the car will keep bliwing hot (or cold) air until it reaches the desired temp..but don't set the dial to the hotted or coldest temps or it'll just keep blowing at max...anywhere in between is good

steve s
yes. u wire it to the hand brake and the foot brake indicator lights.i bypassed it with "black box r1" instead of a "pac tr-7". both will work, both found on ebay. i'm working to find a switch i like so i can turn it on and off at will. i have one empty slot left. all the dash switches are taken. so i will put it on the center console opposite the winter/sport/econ tranny mode switch on the passenger's side. this way, i can leave it off most of time and have it on whenever my passenger wants it. Bing_0
good deal buddy, the pictures on the D900 is definetly one of the better ones my only beef with it is that the lack of touch screen makes navigation through all the menus kinda annoying...
